Davis Day!

The man of the hour

This morning my dear friend Shannon flew into town. Our other good friend from college, Becca, picked her up at the airport and they both came over to our house. We visited with the boys for a bit, and then we girls went off to run a few errands…which included having some tea and popovers at Neiman Marcus (a very girly treat). It was so nice to get out of the house and spend time with friends. Later in the day, we went to my aunt’s house to celebrate Davis. We got together with some friends and family and many got to meet the littlest Kipp for the first time. It was great to give him some special time…even though he slept the whole visit. Today was a really nice day, and again a wonderful break from the past six months. Thanks Matt for spending the day at home with the boys! And we finished the day off by having Carter’s favorite dinner…chicken, pita and hummus! Let’s hope to find out good CT scan results tomorrow!!
