AYSO begins!

Soccer Stud!

Well, after Matt cautiously spaced out Carter's meds last night in order to make sure he didn't throw up any of them, it was successful. Carter woke up this morning and asked for Coco Krispies and ate the whole little box. Then, he was able to keep down his morning meds as well. He even said Atovaquone (one of his nasty looking oral meds) was yummy. Such a trooper!

Due to swine flu, CHOC allows no visitors and only parents with patients. We signed something saying Grammy could visit to allow Matt some relief. Grammy came this morning so Matt had time to run home and shower before taking Bennett to his first soccer game! Dad was sooo happy to be there. Then, the two of them had lunch and came home to visit with Mom and Davis for a bit.

Carter got sick once again this afternoon, but kept eating his goldfish right after...which is a good sign. Hopefully, they'll be coming home tomorrow. We can't wait!

  1. Gotta love Grammy! Sounds like a better day but I hope you are getting some rest. You need it! So fun that Matt could take Benny to his game...important for both of them. Get some sleep and enjoy your little Davis before the family of five begin their lives together. Whew! Big hugs...xoxo Cindy and John

  2. Bet you can't wait for Carter to be home... not to mention the whole family together. So glad Carter is able to eat a bit ...even though he still gets sick. Nothin' like a grandma to be there if mom or dad can't! Have a most awesome Sunday.

  3. Praise God for His faithfulness and Carter's rebound from this round of chemo. Thank God for Grammy and all of those around you for support. Bennett looks cute in his soccer uniform. Many hugs, many prayers, many blessings!

  4. I am so glad to hear the spacing out of the meds worked much better! You are all troopers and are amazing with how you are able to make it to everything for all the kids and I am continuously impressed!! I hope that today is better and that Carter can go home soon and you can be together with baby Davis! I'm sure Carter can't wait also and that will probably make him feel better too with his mind on the baby AND big brother! I have to say that I don't blame you AT ALL for driving to the hospital to see Carter!!! I totally would have done the same thing and probably so would every mother. You are doing amazingly well juggling all of this! Sending our prayers and love!!
