Two buddies...
Bennett tries a 'mock' dressing...what an awesome big brother! As we enter our 6th and FINAL round of chemotherapy at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), we'd like to remind everyone about an amazing event on October 18th. We've mentioned the CHOC Walk in the Park in a previous post and details can be found below. We are honored the Glass Slipper Guild has chosen to walk in-honor of Carter, as "Carter's Crusaders". Erin Burns, our dear friend (and member of Glass Slipper Guild) has helped design t-shirts for the event as well. The majority of the proceeds from the shirt sale will go toward Carter's Fight Fund. The shirts are available on Erin's blog "Bringing Up Burns".
Even if you're not attending the Walk but want a cool t-shirt for a great cause, visit the upper right hand side of Erin's blog for shirts!

On October 18th, thousands of CHOC supporters will walk through the Disneyland® Resort at the 19th Annual CHOC Walk in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort. This event, which benefits CHOC Children's and CHOC Children's at Mission Hospital, is sure to provide an unforgettable day of fun.
The picture of Carter & Bennett is a good one that made me cry. Such caring and understanding Bennett has for Carter. Such a wonderful big brother. I am praying for good weather for the walk....can't get to Cali to do it. Praying for many donations, that the goodness of God's people shine through and the donations are more then you could have ever hoped for. Many hugs and many blessings!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the brothers on the bed...just so touching. You are doing such a great job of raising a caring, compassionate young boy. Bennett will use these skills forever. Thanks once again for sharing...love it! Big hugs xoxo Cindy and John
