September?!!

Wow! Where has the summer gone? Our family is feeling like we never got a summer, and now it is almost over. I have definitely spent more time indoors this summer than any previous year. We’ll make up for it next summer for sure! I can hardly wait!

The good news is we are trying to keep Bennett’s life as normal as possible. He’s in a great class for Pre-K this year with a lot of his buddies, which he will start in two weeks. And he is starting AYSO. I don’t know who is more excited, Matt or Bennett. It will be a lot of fun for him though.

And Carter has a cold. There is no fever and we already got a liver transplant, so we are trying to not stress about it. Hopefully, he’ll be feeling much better and back in fighting mode next Tuesday for the beginning of his 5th round of chemo. He hasn’t been anywhere (and we mean anywhere!) except his outings to the UCLA clinic. So, we have nothing to really blame it on. We’re just glad his transplant is behind us and are hoping he feels better in the next couple of days!

  1. Praying for that bug to quit bugging Carter's system in the name of Jesus. That those germs die and not spread within him or to any other family member. I speak health abundantly over and in Carter in Jesus' might name.

What a cute fella....all dressed up with his dinosaur backpack and no where to go! He sure does look about like he did in earlier pictures.

Praying blessings over Bennett that he meets many new friends in school and that he flat out has fun & enjoys it. He is such a bright and brilliant young man. Hugs and many blessings to each and everyone of you!
