Davis - Day 2
Carter's gonna be a great big brotherMom and Davis had an okay night. Davis slept great after his whirlwind arrival into this world. And I had hormonal night sweats and vitals being taken all night. Then, the nurse would bring in the sleepy baby and want me to try and feed him...when all Davis and I wanted to do was keep sleeping! We did okay though, and are hoping for a better night tonight. It's no fun being the patient (for a change).
Dad had a great night with the boys, and they woke up this morning and decided to visit their new baby brother! We couldn't wait to see them!! Bennett admired Davis, then wanted to watch a cartoon and eat a snack. Carter sat on my lap while I held Davis. Carter patted his legs and said, "Hi Baby Davis!" He's going to be great with him, we can already tell.
Matt and I were looking at the boys together on the hospital bed. Small, medium and large...it was heart-warming and made us want to cry. Our family is complete. The birth of Davis represents a new beginning for our family. We have a lot of joy and fun ahead! We have so much to be grateful for, and want to thank everyone for all their well wishes!
Congratulations! And I just want to say that you are an honest, poetic writer. As soon as you can come up for air, you should compile all these entries into an article or book... It would be inspirational to many people, I'm sure! Cherie Sharp

Boys, Boys and more Boys...what fun! You look beautiful and very content. Hold on to that image because I have a feeling you are going to be very busy soon. ReplyDeleteI can see changes in Carter's face too--he looks more like his pics 4 months ago. Hard to explain the change, but just more like how he was? It's good to see. Thinking of all of you and keeping you in prayer today as Carter starts the "home stretch" of this sage.
